DannyBoy Apparel was introduced to me in the most incredible way.

After making a public Facebook post appealing for donations for a student’s family whose mother had just received a terminal cancer diagnosis just weeks before Christmas, I received an email from DannyBoy Apparel founder and CEO Dan Malin.  Dan had emailed asking to make a donation on behalf of his company after seeing my post shared on Facebook.

To be perfectly honest, at first I thought that this email was some sort of scam.  I thought to myself, “Why would someone on the other side of the country want to donate to a random family he’s never met?  This has to be a scam.”  However, it was anything but a scam.  In fact, when I reached out to Dan and told him more about the family and their situation he sent another donation and asked that it be used to get the kids something incredible for Christmas.

DannyBoy Apparel donated $500 to a complete stranger to donate on their behalf.  This speaks not only to Dan’s mission to bring good to the world but also to the fact that he truly believes that good people are still out there.
