An amazing day!
When I opened up the mail today, I had received the most awesome letter. It was a certificate from the USPTO that had let me know that I officially owned the trademark to the DannyBoy logo! As many people know, I hold the logo near and dear to my heart as it represents to many things for me. There bits of hard work and sweat in there. Days of frustration. Time and effort. Most of all, it is wrapped up in so much love!...
One night in Bangkok…..
It was crazy to wake up so early after a few days of being so busy and packing in as much as we got to. I had just rolled out of bed and could see the silhouette of the building making its way through the curtain. A sudden burst of inspiration flowed through my body and I decided to snap this beautiful picture to as a reminder of how far DannyBoy has come in such a short time! To know that we are hitting multiple countries and continents and have so many people wearing our gear and loving it, inspires us to keep going! ...

This beauty got sent to me the other day and when I opened it up, I was immediately filled with emotion! At no point, has this ever been about tossing my logo on someone else's items and selling it to make a quick buck. We have done some trial items to see how things would work and what the customers liked. Moving forward, our clothing will be designed from scratch. We pick the material. We choose the design. The first production!
After weeks and weeks of waiting, they were here. These samples had just been sent in and laid out in front of my wife and I. So, there we were. Standing in that store and looking at our vision. A couple of our ideas and thoughts becoming real. It was such an amazing moment and like time had briefly stopped. But, we also knew that there were many more steps ahead of us! ...
Support from my entire family
This picture means more to me than I can put into words. This is Christmas day 2018 and I brought some hats along for my family to each have. My family has embraced my dream and supported me in each step of the way even on days where I have felt like calling it quits. So, to have my family all wearing a hat that has the DannyBoy logo on it, makes my heart do somersaults! It quiets the voices that tell me I won't be able to do this. I love this picture...
What does my logo look like to you…..
There is a little bit of a running joke that apparently, my logo, has a certain look to it. One of my friends had started laughing when he saw my first hat and said it looked like "I was wearing a small dick n balls on my head." How could I do anything other than laugh and own what it looks like? It has even sparked some pretty ballsy one liners that have just been completely nuts! These people who come up with the sayings are real weiners!...
DannyBoy is going global!
I got asked how many places that my products have been sent to. Initially, I hadn't put a whole lot of thought into it. I decided to have a little fun and make up this little map out of curiosity. When I looked at all the places I had hit, I was surprised that I missed this in the first place. As we move grow larger, I will keep updating my map and share pictures that I get from each continent that DannyBoy lands on!...
My little store
This is what my view looked like after all of my initial product had come in! I sat in my office staring at all the boxes and it made me feel like I had way more than I knew what to do with. The initial idea was that I would get rid of all the existing stock to make room for the new stock that had come in and keep using that method as my inventory grew. The Beginning….(Chapter 1)
This was the first time that the DannyBoy logo had been shown to the world! When the logo was first presented to me, it was among 8 other logos that were created by my friend, Darren Stauth. Oilpatch Love!
Currently, I work out in the oil patch and my time takes me away from home. I am choosing to work out here for the time being so that I have the finances to fuel my passion. At first, I had some big hesitations about letting my co-workers know what I was up to and I didn't want to feel like anyone else was going to squash my dream.
